Rabeprazole Impurity

Rabeprazole is an antiulcer drug in the class of proton pump inhibitors. It was developed by Eisai and is marketed by Janssen-Cilag as the sodium salt under the brand names AcipHex in the US and Pariet in Europe. Rabeprazole is used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), a condition in which backward flow of acid from the stomach causes heartburn and possible injury of the esophagus (the tube that connects the throat and stomach).

We have successfully synthesized impurities of the Rabeprazole. This will be of interest to pharmaceutical companies and analytical labs.
