Valsartan is an angiotensin II receptor antagonist. By blocking the action of angiotensin, valsartan dilates blood vessels and reduces blood pressure. Valsartan is used alone or in combination with other medications to treat high blood pressure. It is also used to treat congestive heart failure and to improve survival after a heart attack.

We have successfully synthesized Alanine and Isoleucin Valsartan. This will be of interest to pharmaceutical companies and analytical labs.
